What is the Omnilux:
Contour products are flexible, portable, affordable, FDA-cleared home use devices that use light emitting diodes (LED) to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, clear and prevent acne, and improve overall skin tone and health.
How does it work:
Optimized energy output and two clinically proven wavelengths of red and near-infrared (633nm and 830nm) of light work on a cellular level to stimulate collagen, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce the visible signs of aging and sun damage. The Clear targets acne by using blue and red light.
How safe is it:
Over 40 clinical studies and nearly 20 years of Omnilux experience have proven that Omnilux light therapy is very safe, with no adverse side effects, no pain and downtime. The device generates no heat and is safe for all skin types and during pregnancy.
What is the treatment regimen?
A course of 3-5 ten minute treatments per week for 4-6 weeks is recommended. Thereafter, use as desired for maintenance.
Can I use it with my current skin care products?
A clean face is recommended while using the Omnilux to maximize light absorption, but otherwise you may continue with the use of your usual products. The contour is a wonderful addition when recovering from procedures such as microneedling, peels, injections etc.
